Fantastic Thrifty Finds

Things have been seriously hectic here, good and bad, so I feel like everything is in a bit of a whirlwind. Things are a little more settled now; we're on school holidays so Danny is home to help which makes things easier. One of the great things that happened is that I had a weekend with my sister in Sydney. My first night away in four years!

Lucky me, she's also keen on Thrifting / Op Shopping so we visited some of her locals. I thought I'd share a few pics of what I found.

This drop leaf table is lovely, and I'm imagining turquoise and white. I've never actually seen one 'in the flesh' before, so I had a little play around instore before putting the sold sticker on it. It works beautifully!

This is probably my favourite. I'll have to dig out some inspiration photos - I remember seeing a beautiful one with a soft colour on the inside, which I think would be beautiful. Not sure how I'm going to attack covering the green - I may have to find a paint stripper, something I haven't used before.

I love the top draw of this bedside, and it's so solid.

Hooray! Something from my list! This mirror was hidden behind a huge sideboard, and I just saw it lying there as I was on my way out. I'm so glad I found it!

I can't wait to get started on these, but I can't decide what to do first!

I thought I'd end with a sneak peak of what I'm working on....
